Paying safely
With a purchase, the money never goes directly to the seller. The payment provider holds it until you have your cards.

Always pay on the site
You check out through the payment provider. If someone asks you to transfer money outside the site, do not: then you are not protected. Paying in cash is only possible for a pickup, and then without buyer protection.

The money is held
The seller only gets the money when you choose "All good", or by itself after the term: 7 days after delivery with a label, 14 days after Shipped if the seller ships on their own.

Shipping with track & trace
With a label through Trademon every parcel has track & trace and the site sees when it is delivered. If the seller ships without track & trace, the risk is theirs if it does not arrive.

Check your cards
When they arrive, check that the card, the language and the condition match the listing.

Something wrong?
Then choose "There is a problem" before the term is over. The money stays held while you sort it out, with money back or a return. If you cannot agree after 7 days, you call in an administrator.
Who you trade with
Before you buy or trade, you see who the other collector is and how their earlier deals went.

Sellers are verified
Anyone who receives money has been checked by the payment provider first.

Check the profile
Every profile shows the average score and the number of completed deals.

Reviews from real deals
You can only leave a review after a completed purchase or trade, once per side. So every review comes from someone who actually traded with the other collector.

Talk on the site
Ask your questions through the messages on the site. That keeps everything with your order or trade, so you can read it back later.

Ask for a photo
In doubt about a card? Ask for an extra photo in a conversation with "Ask for a photo". The label "Photo with timestamp" means the seller photographed their own copy, with their username and the date next to it.

Photos are checked
Photos in messages and on listings are checked before they are sent or added: for unsuitable content, and whether they show a card or product.

Block and report
If something goes wrong in a conversation, block the other collector or report the conversation. An admin reads a reported conversation and steps in where needed.
Pickup and meeting up
Picking up cards or trading in person? Then you agree on a time and place through the site.

Choose a public place
Meet at a station, in the library or in a café, preferably not at someone’s home. Bring someone along if you prefer.

It is all in the appointment
The time and place are with the trade or order, and you get a reminder the day before. If something changes, let the other know through the messages.

Paying at pickup
If you pay through the site, the seller only gets the money after the appointment. If you pay in cash, there is no buyer protection.

Check the cards on the spot
Check the card, the language and the condition before you leave. Afterwards you mark on the site that you have the cards.
